Download & Installation

Install

java -jar jboss-brms-6.4.0.GA-installer.jar
  • Add more users/roles
./bin/add-user.sh -a -u admin -p password1! -g admin,analyst,kiemgmt,rest-all,kie-server
./bin/add-user.sh -a -u kylin -p password1! -g admin,analyst,kiemgmt,rest-all,kie-server
  • Start Server
./bin/standalone.sh -b 0.0.0.0 -bmanagement=0.0.0.0
  • Verify installation

Open a web browser and enter http://localhost:8080/business-central/. Log in using the user name and password for accessing the JBoss BRMS application that you created at installation time.

Configure Realtime Decision Server

  • add the following properties
/system-property=org.kie.server.user:add(value=kylin)
/system-property=org.kie.server.pwd:add(value=password1!)
/system-property=org.kie.server.location:add(value="http://localhost:8080/kie-server/services/rest/server")
/system-property=org.kie.server.controller:add(value="http://localhost:8080/business-central/rest/controller")
/system-property=org.kie.server.controller.user:add(value=kylin)
/system-property=org.kie.server.controller.pwd:add(value=password1!)
/system-property=org.kie.server.id:add(value="local-server-123")

Alternatives, add the following contents to config file

<property name="org.kie.server.user" value="kylin"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.pwd" value="password1!"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.location" value="http://localhost:8080/kie-server/services/rest/server"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.controller" value="http://localhost:8080/business-central/rest/controller"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.controller.user" value="kylin"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.controller.pwd" value="password1!"/>
<property name="org.kie.server.id" value="local-server-123"/>
